2: Yes there was the issue of this presenteeism where I previously worked. The lack of work-life balance and jobs with overloaded work and multitasking led to this situation wherein people just came to mark their attendance and be less productive.
Management could have used counseling and proper one by one solution of the issues of the employee. The human resource and other specific teams would have taken measures to consult to these employees and help them perform better. The top management and other stakeholders could formulate a policy for wellbeing of the employee to sort out the issue of stress.
