Answer the questions in the RED circle only...based on the instructors crisis below.
INSTRUCTOR IMPOSED CRISIS:
At 1 AM on Friday your high profile Chief Technology Officer, hits a pedestrian in a crosswalk 1 block from your main offices and drives off. A gas station surveillance camera showing your CTO leaving the scene after the accident occurs. The pedestrian is in critical condition. The entire company leadership team had taken the CTO out to dinner after the work day ended to celebrate a hugely profitable quarter they had just concluded. The celebration got rather enthusiastic at the bar across the street from your corporate offices and the CTO had left the bar at 12:45 AM. It is now 6 AM on Saturday and your COO just hung up the phone with the Police Department and indicated that they have the CTO in custody and they want to speak with everyone that was at the bar with him last night.

Yes clearly warning signals could have been missed at the bar in the celebration party. The team had soaked themselves in the spirit of celebration, in booze. It can be understood from the fact that the CTO hit the pedestrian and drove off without even bothering to take him to the nearest hospital, for the fear of being caught not sober. The team should have ensured sending all their drunk members with drivers driving the car to their respective home. Since it was a high profile celebration with executives soaking themselves in the treat, the image or prestige of the company was held on them and thus ot should have been a prior crisis prevention agenda of the company.
The ability of organizations to make sense of the state of their environment, to detect new vulnerable points or processes, to prevent all threat attacks, to adopt new technologies and organizational attributes, contribute to their growth and success. Yes there are ever evolving vulnerabilities that are detrimental and hazardous in tangible and intangible measures to an organisation that should be acknowledged and gotten rid off.
