BCA assay is used to find out the total concentration of protein in a sample.
the principle relies on 2 reactions :
1. peptide bonds reduce Cu++ ----- Cu + , the amount of Cu+ reduced is proportional to the amount of protein present .
2. 2 molecuules of bicinchoninic acid cchelate with each Cu ion forming a purple colored product.
3. sample concentation is ffound by measuring the absorbance and the puuting the value obtaineed on the standard graph of amino acids
