Life is filled with hard knocks. Arguably what defines a person is how they rebound from hard knocks. Businesses are many times interested in how job applicants have handled personal or business failure in their past. If an interviewer asked you about a time where life brought you to your knees and how you successfully handled the event, how would you respond? Your response should include what was the failure? How did this failure help you to become a better person, make better decisions, or succeed in a way you hadn’t imagined? Do you believe that failure is important? Why or why not?

Every individual have some highs and lows in their professional & personal life whenever you are being asked in an interview about the scenario where you had a difficult scenario and how you handled it, generally the intent is to judge the attitude of candidate. Nobody wants to recruit a person who cannot overcome from failures and learn from them so that next time they are ready for bigger challenges.
You should use examples from your professional experience and never quote an example that could potentially damage the reputation of organization you are working for, also you should never share any confidential information like the client details, specific locations, or any similar details. Never share any personal detail in the example you wish to give. Never say something slanderous about the third party in question, never say you have done something illegal or are willing to do something which is not acceptable socially or legally. Never lie.
Use examples which are positive and which led to new learnings and new experiences even after the failures.
