Upward communication can be considered as the flow of communication from lower heirarchy level to the senior management level.It is very difficult to achieve in an organisation due to lack of proper communication chanels, too much of mid level management roles which will not cascade th communication to the top levelm internal politics and vested interest of people, lobbying of people with higher maganement,ineffect HR policies which create hurdle for upward communication.This are the common barriers which results in lack of proper upward communication .Leaders can play vital role in eliminating or reducing such barriers through developing a colloborative envionment and a transparent communication channels. They should create a proper platform where all class of employees can express their concerns and ensure to address those properly. HR policies should be strong enough to implement and execute upward communication and providing proper plan to execute the concerns.Leaders should activeley be part of activities which fostering employee harmony and creating a colloborative platform.
