The poor estimate would come to know by not meeting the deliverables in time ( delayed delivery), overshooting the cost or estimated budget and lack of resource co ordination The project scheduling techniques like PERT ( program evaluation and review technique) can be used to schedule the project more accurately especially to identify the shortest method to finish the m project with milestones and deliverables .

It would be very difficult to change the project charter in between to complete the project before the designed time frame .it might be possible only by adding more resources or reduce the scope of project. Thus a proper discussion to be done to make the understanding the situation and provide feasible solution either interns of scope or addition resource with updated budget requirements.
