The knowledge of jobs is used for many purposes, certainly in the field of HRM for healthcare organizations. In particular, knowledge of what a job requires an employee to do—the basis for pay—is essential to make comparisons with other jobs for market pricing and as the first step in evaluating jobs internally. Today and every day, as leaders or managers, we want to emphasize the golden rule of treating others the way we want to be treated. We are working with a diverse team of people from many cultures, traditions, backgrounds, and belief. This is what makes us a strong, effective, and successful healthcare organization.

Tasks:

In a minimum of 200 words, consider the differences among a job description, a job analysis, and a job design. What is the importance of each in healthcare HRM?

How would you foster a climate of mutual respect and trust among your team members?

Suppose you are developing the job description, analysis, and design for a clinical team leader position. Does diversity relate to the position at all? Explain your answer. If yes, how will you address it?

Job Analysis - It is systematic study of jobs to determine certain activities related to perform that job,and the evolution is done on the performance did by that person. Example- Doctor is one of the profession and he has got specific job needed to perform, and on his performance the job analysis will be done ,if he is performing good or not. So its important to have job analysis in the healthcare sector also.

Job Description - it describes the list of jobs and duties, roles or tasks, working conditions within the organisation and other responsibilities towards the job and organization too. Example- Nurses having their specific roles and responsibilities. If they will not specified with the particular tasks then they will be not doing their task which is required for that position and so for that its important in health care HRM.

Job Design- It is one of the core function of human resource management and it is related to methods and technologies and organizational requirements and the same time it demands the social and personal requirements of the job. Example - the jobs done in healthcare sector, should contribute to the society and should be give enough to themselves too. And they should take care and have concerns towards the social beings. So its important in the healthcare HRM.

Respect is something what is needed to be earned and not taken forcibly from others. In healthcare sector, there all are having some positions having numbers of experience or high education. What I would do is ,implement the code of conduct within the organization,where everybody should respect eachother regardless of the positions. Which will help a lot in creating the communication and positive environment.

If I am developing the job analysis, job description, job design then yes, diversity will relate to this position cultural or may be other diversity comes in between their work. May be ego comes in between due to more experience in the job position of Team leader,which can create disputes or disturbances in the work.
