Model - Team Based Work Most businesses now use a team approach to the product development cycle. The health professions have, in their modern form, always relied on a team based structure (physicians, nurses, technicians, specialists, and business professionals). One of the principle causes of business failures is a poor management structure in which employees and resources are ineffectively managed and work productivity is insufficient to yield a profit The importance of being able to work in a team environment is simply expressed if you look at the keywords on any job search website. On August 17, 2010, in Texas alone, CareerBuilder.com listed 10,049 jobs that included the word "team" in the title or advertisement and over 100,000+ jobs with "team" as a key word nationally Key Question 3. In this course, you will be assigned to work in a group. Each group will need a manager. The manager must fulfill the roles of any absent members or provide leadership decisions to make sure the assignment is completed on time. This role will change weekly and each group member will have the opportunity to be the group manager. In an online course, this may seem irrelevant because online courses are perceived to be independent. Why do you think this aspect of the course is important? 4. Why type of "management" role do you play in your everyday life? Do your decisions affect other people? Is it difficult for you to make these decisions, knowing that they might affect someone else's life?

3. Working as a group or as a team has various advantages over individual work or independent work. The reasons for which I believe working in a team is a book for both the business and to the society are:

1) No MONOPOLY OF AUTHORITY unlike independent task

2) Various source of information

3) More knowledge involved

4) Chances of failures are minimal

5) Work load minimized

6) Boredom in work is not felt

7) Lively environment

Working in teams is preferred over independent task because of the above reasons, involing more people will make tasks easy as if one person can not perform any task that can be completed by another.

I manage things among college and work, managing the timings of work and college is one of THE TASk of my managerial skills, yes my decisions affect other people, at work and at home.

Knowing that your decisions are affecting other lifes it becomes difficult to make them as all the ascpects have to be considered beforing reaching to any conclusion.
