Please help me answer the following questions Incorporating the following slides into the formulation of the answer as I am having difficulty comprehending the question and how to go about answering it.
You manage a team of five people. Two of your employees, Jane and Eddie, have been working on a project together for 5 months. The total project will take 7 months. They share equal responsibility, and this project, if successful, could save the company one million dollars. Recently, Eddie met with an executive of the company and took credit for leading and doing most of the work on the project. Jane found out that Eddie dismissed her contributions on the project and feels betrayed and feels she can't trust Eddie now. As their manager, and drawing from what you have learned in this chapter, how can you help restore trust between Eddie and Jane to not only ensure they deliver great project results, but also help to rebuild a trusting relationship between them.

Conflict resolution that are normally practised by managers at the workplace include both formal and informal methods. In the above scenario, two key mebers of the project have a conflict that has arisen between them and since it has come to the attention of the manager, the manager has to call them for a meeting separately and discuss the issue. During the discusssion he has to motivate Eddie to accept his mistake and apologise to Jane after evaluating his behaviour.The manager also has to influence Jane to forgive Eddie for his lapse in his behaviour. Having resolved the conflict, the manager has to keep track that such an issue does not arise between the other employees for the rest of the project duration so that productivity is not lost.
