Explanation / Answer

What things influence someone’s notion of what is ethical in their lives and what influences behavior once at work?

The things that influence us on the notional of ethical in our lives are the people who we spent the most time with, those are our family and friends.

Our coworkers and the general culture of the place we work is what influences us on our behavior at work.

How ethical/moral reasoning change across a lifetime and what Kholberg’s theory of moral development tell us

Childhood thinks in general terms if he/ she will be caught.

Teens think on how their behavior affect other people around them

Adults think on how their action could affect the law

Pre-conventional morality

Our moral is made but what the adults tell us is correct or not and we are taught about the consequences of acting against the rules

Conventional morality

The person starts to understand the laws but does not question them.

Post-conventional morality

The judgment of each person is choose by themselves and the moral reason of the person is based on justice

What a value is and the difference between intrinsic and extrinsic values providing examples of each.

A value is a believe that is shared among members of a culture about what is good or bad

“Intrinsic value” describes value beyond our goals, opinions, preferences, and cultural customs. Instead, something is intrinsically good if it is good just for existing, good in itself, and good for its own sake.

Intrinsic value is a value that is far beyond opinions and goal, something has intrinsic value if it’s good in and of itself. An example is happiness, because being happy is good just because of the pure fact that is good to be happy not because this will lead you to something else.

Extrinsic value on the other hand is something that is good because it will lead you to something else that is also good, for example money has extrinsic value because will lead you to buy what you wanted, a house for example.
