Question
Potential customers frequently visit your production facility before making purchase decisions. You and the people who report to you in the sales department have received extensive training in etiquette issues because you deal with high-profile clients so frequently. However, the rest of the workforce has not received such training, and you worry that someone might inadvertently say or do something that would offend one of these potential customers. In a two-paragraph email, explain to the general manager why you think anyone who might come in contact with customers should receive basic etiquette training.
Explanation / Answer
to: the general manager
subject: request for training to employees
dear general manager: we are doing our activities best and all are in our control. we are running a smooth flow of work, which the purchasers are felt much happy.
in this regards, now a days majority of our customers are visiting our manufacturing plant frequently. and there are many chances to interact with the work force in our production department. if those people are not in a position to answer the questions or doubts, it will be damage to our reputation.
so, if we provide a formal training to the workers who are in production department, it will be better to us. consider my request and arrange the required traning to them.
