SINCE WERE GOING TO BORA BORA WE WOULD USE OPERATIONAL PLANNING: FOR DAY TO DAY PLANS AND HOW THEY ARE SUPPOSE TO BE EXECUTED FROM MORNING TILL NIGHT CONTINGENCY PLANS WOULD ALSO BE GREAT IN CASE OF A MISHAP SUCH AS AN ACCIDENT OR SINCE ITS A BEACH AREA SO POSSIBLE CASES COULD BE DROWNING OR GETTING STUNG BY JELLYFISH THEN TACTICAL PLANS COULD BE USED AS THEY ARE SMALL PLANS WHICH PERFORM SMALL YET IMPORTANT ACTIVITIES WHICH WILL HELP US IN ENJOYING OUR TRIP SO WE CAN EXAMPLE, ACTIVITIES WE GET TO PERFORM SUCH AS DIVING , DINNERS, WALKS BY THE BEACH OUR MAIN OBJECTIVE COULD BE ONE OF THE FEW SUCH AS GETTING AWAY FROM THE CITY LIFE TAKING A BREAK FROM THE HECTIC LIFE ENJOYING WITH FAMILY A SOCIAL MEDIA LESS VACATION IT DEPENDS ON PERSON TO PERSON AND WHAT THEIR PRIORITY IS

Explanation / Answer

Answer: In this case operational planning will be used with an objective of completing the trip with safety while getting away from the city life and taking a break. The two major priorities during this trip will be safety and enjoyment. Firstly the trip is a risky one with possibilities of a mishap. Hence security will be the major priority. Secondly this trip will focus on carrying out fun activities that can help in making the participants enjoy.

For planning this trip we will prepare the plan before hand ahead of time. Firstly a list of all the activities to be carried out during this trip will be prepared and then all the safety procedures and processes related with those activities will be developed. The routine activities to be performed will also be analysed in detain and procedures and processes will be laid down. Similarly based on the risk identified, the procedures and processes related with the management of those risks will be laid down.

These types of planning can be used every day on my current job or house hold both short term and long term basis and also on the contingency basis. In households or at work, specific tasks need to be completed. For fulfilling these tasks planning is both essential and useful.
