here we use chi-square test for relationship between introversion/extraversion and drinking

and chi-squre=sum((O-E)2/E)=3.95 with 1 df

critical chi-square(0.05,1)=3.84 is less than calculated chi-square=3.95, which means we reject the H0 in favor of H1.
