Balancing your life and work together is a challenge for the employees in current scenario. we have some personal life to apent with family members, pleasure time and leisure time to care about our health. so giving priority to both work and life with out taking stress is a common problem. we take the work problems to home lives and home problems to the work place as we try our best to treat both separately.

There are two types of work life conflict;

Work-family conflict:- in this, we fail to manage the household responsibilities when keeping ourself busy in work place and the time which should have given to the family work is consumed in time consuming projects in work place even working for the late night to complete the task.

Family-work conflict- it happens when your role for the family distrubs or interfere in the work responsibility. your are hurry to go to home to attain some urgent work and keeping in mind you are completing the work quickly facing frustration.

This types of conflict will lead to spillover and crossover.

In spillover, we bring our work stress to home and end up working at home instead of focusing on our family and social life.

In crossover, your work stress that you brought home is affecting your family life, i.e. crossing over the family life which is due to burnout . Burnout is the exhaustion due to over work or job stress which disturbing your family life and partner's expectations on you.

Spillover leads to crossover. positive work experience with satisfaction will spillover to home with positive impact on family life resulting satisfaction with members. where as negative work experience lead to negative spillover to home creating burnout.

so work stress is always proved to be bad as a number of suicides, divorce cases happened in family, personal health probles like high blood pressure, diabetics, mental disorder, dipression, heart attack etc happens. some times observed of taking narcotic products and alchol to reduce stress which again injurious for health.

some suggested steps to manage your stress

1. start your day off right

2. be clear on requirements

3. stay away from conflict

4. stay organized

5. Be comfortable.

6. Forget multitasking.

7. walk at lunch.

8. keep perfectionism in check

9. listen to music on the drive home
