Scenario 1:

Considering the rebuilding of the dilapidated bridge in the middle of the city, focus is on the materials and their cost, amount of labor, and the project timeline. Since, there are only six months to complete the project, a proper planning is required.

Planning must include: Planned Budget, Proper Activity network diagrams with the times and sticking to the plan and for the quality measures setting quality standards and  regular inspections.

Scenario 2:

For the expansion, focus is on additional resources your factory needs and along with that maintaining cost, quality, and timeline for this project. Since timeline is pre-assigned by the Board of Directors, so, planning is done as per the approved budget. Extra resources required must be bought in the available budget.

Scenario 3:

Producing video cameras along with the battery efficient laptops can be justified as, every laptop has a webcam which is also a video camera. Producing them together will make everything inhouse. They wouldn't need to buy is from somewhere else.
