Employee’s that sign a contract to the fact of the do’s and don’ts of what is expected of them and they except the terms and conditions of the policies that organizations. Once you sign that you understand what is expected and you do the opposite you deserve to be fired.
Will employees who see others fired for violating terms and conditions of employment more likely follow the straight-and-narrow out of respect for the rules or go job hunting out of fear they may make an honest mistake and lose their jobs? (In a 150 words or more).

It depends on the attitude and perception of an individual working as an employee in an organisation, he may see a negative reinforcement as a lesson or have a negative view and try to relate it to himself if he would have in that situation how the management have behaved towards him. Employees are bound to accept the terms and conditions by signing the documents if they really want to work in that organisation, if they don't follow, they will surely be considered for taking strict action. But it's surely on the management how their reinforcement can impact other members of the business firm.
Very few employees follow the straight and narrow out of respect for the rules or their job, if they don't find any other alternative options or financially weak. Whereas, many of the employees, try to look out for better jobs opportunity where the management is flexible in its terms and conditions and organisational culture. They fear that they may lose there job if ever they make a mistake unintentionally, so it is the management who need to consider this carefully before straight away firing any individual.
