You know that it takes: 1,800 gallons of water to produce one pound of beef, 12 gallons of water to produce a head of lettuce, 2 gallons for one walnut, and 468 gallons of water to produce a pound of chicken. You discuss this with the executives in your firm and they tell you that the way water is allocated by government, the company does not incur any additional expense: water will remain very cheap for business. The head of the company is soliciting ideas for its strategic plan for the future. What are the alternatives? What are your recommendations? Why do you recommend this course of action? Explanation / Answer
1.
I am very much agree that organization should continue produce beef burger. Some recommendation can be used to save water and how to produce beef burger without additional variable cost ?
Water treatment can be used for purification of water which can be used for cleaing of beef.
Boiling purpose water can be reuse.
Organization should promote other non veg product like chicken burger so that beef product deman can be reduce. But Beef product should be available at any time.
Esteem can be use as alternate option for cooking.
Sparkling water can be use which is found in some fruits.
Different type of milk like soy and almond can be use.
2. I am strongly disagree with this recommendation and this is truely unethical and illegal. Because HR should not judge the candidate with religion and physical appearance. Somewhat it can be right when company policy is there for physical looking, body structure and physical fitness. employee can be change the getup after joing in organization then whey HR should shortlist the candidate based on religion ?
Flight attendent are hired to serve the passengers inside the airways. Customer never demand for any religion flying attendants. Why the HR make this type of Rules ? Every company provide uniform to flight attendant during duties and recommend official getup during on job duty. If employee is agree to change so company should hire any employee. No matter which religion he has.
Thank you..
