I chose HSBC for SWOT Analysis. I am interested in the financial and banking sector and aiming for a career in the banking sector. Hence I chose HSBC to get knowledge of the banking and financial sector. I admire the company for its worldwide presence and effective management of resources to become the market leader. HSBC is one of the traditional banks with a rich history dating back to 15th August 1836 when it was founded in Birmingham. HSBC is the world’s leading banking and financial services provider. The headquarters of HSBC is located in London, England with an annual revenue of $66.2 billion and more than 228687 employees worldwide. The Unique Selling Proposition (USP) of HSBC is to provide all financial and banking needs of the customers in a single point and accordingly they adopt the tagline “The World’s local bank”. HSBC provides retail banking, commercial banking, wealth management, private banking and global banking services.
