17. B. Results appraisal
Results approach is one of modern appraisal methods which is based on the belief that an employee's ability and potential can be seen in their output. A standard is set and if the standard is not met by an employee, that employee is considered non performing. Also the behavior, attitude etc is also given due evaluations.
