1. Some of the important characteristics of a friendship are:

Communication plays a very vital role in maintaining the friendship. Effective communication which is fair and genuine between two people helps to build the confidence in each other which brings them much closer. When they become more confident in each they tend to communicate more and there happens more sharing between the two people. People start to exchange more personal information, their problems, their struggles etc. When people communicate details of their problems, their struggles the other can find possible best solutions to it, the friend can console the person, show his kindness and affection by helping her out of the situation and supporting her to overcome it by ways of effective communication. Being always there to share information/talk/ support may not be physically but by ways of communications always tend to build a very good friendship.

2. The important functions of a family are

Effective communication within the family is extremely important in building the strength of the family. Only through effective communications can family understand the different wants, desires and problems to its other members. In order to build strong bonds/affection/trust/care between the family members open communication is vital.Only if there is open and honest sharing between the members it can effectively take care of its functions. If communication is absent in a family the strength of the family is very less. There will be less care/affection/ trust etc as there will be more of problems which the family may fail to notice and address.

3. The different ways of communication in the different stages of a relationship are:

communication is more important in the uncertainty stage. In this stage is where the relationships become more open. Here much of the information is shared. True and honest communications are to be made in this stage else it may affect the later stages of the relationship.

4. expectations influence how we behave in a situation. If the person expects the best from us we tend to provide the best. We prepare and form effective communications with the other. It creates an environment which requires both the parties performing communicating in a better manner. Expectation can lead to forming prejudice conclusions, as a person expects more and we are unable to deliver it the other may become disappointed
