Goal
• To encourage students to be alert to, and reflective of, leadership in our world in a way that integrates real world observations, personal reflections and course material.
Approach and Format
• Choose two leaders for discussion. At least one of the leaders should be someone you know personally. It would be beneficial to pick leaders that you admire and would like to gain further insight to. For each of the leaders describe their approach to leadership, why you admire them and what makes them admirable leaders. On this latter point, explain why they are effective as leaders. In doing this, relate the leaders to concepts in the first few chapters of the text to help describe/explain their leadership (one or more of the following concepts may be useful: nature of leadership, inter-cultural leadership, leadership traits, leader behaviour and motivation). Finally, briefly explain what you have learned about leadership from these two leaders.
• Discuss the above issues in about 4 pages (give or take), single-spaced.

Leaders are people who have the ability to lead, guide, mentor other individuals or organizations towards achievement of a greater good.Leadership skills often have core approaches of either positive or negative approach. Positive approach will always emphasize on rewards and negative approach emphasizes on penalties.
From a business view point we can segregate leaders as having either of the following 4 types of leadership qualities or a combination of them.
