1.B2C and B2B are two marketing modes where B2C is business to customer and B2B is business to business. There are some variations in the way they function. In B2C the business amount with each customer is small and the plans for marketing in B2C is much different as door to door marketing is required in B2C but in B2B marketing is different as it needs to be done with other companies and the business will be in high amounts when compared to B2C. B2C faces direct competition where customers have many options available in front of them from which they can choose. In B2B competition will be during tenders and ince we get the contract we will be the sole suppliers. B2B and B2C have many variations in billing methods, communication methods as the way we communicate in B2B is formal and needs a specific procedure. B2B have high budgets as any profit or loss will have huge margin where as B2C depends on the sales of the products and the margin of profit and loss is less when compared to B2C.
2. Social media and online marketing is utilised by B2C where the the businesses promote their brands and products in various platforms and customers can even buy them online. In B2B social media and internet are used to get details of customers but the promotions and purchases are done in direct mode as they involve high volumes. Both the modes use social media and other sites to maintain customer relationship and to engage with them .
