The project is to develop a web-based dashboard that will monitor the state of several other software systems developed within the organisation. The dashboard will report on information such as current status (up or down), average up-time, current data throughput, average data throughput, any error or warning flags raised by the programs, etc. The intent is to provide system administrators and project managers with an overview of the state of the company’s IT systems. The project is being developed by a small development team who are co-located in the same office area. The other software systems have been developed by other teams who are spread across different offices in the same city.
