Immediately after switch is closed capacitor acts as shor cicruit ,so maximum current in three circuits

IA =E/R =12/4 =3 A

IB=9/3 =3 A

IC=9/9 =1 A

so

Time constant

TA=RC =4*3u =12 us

TB=3*1=3 us

TC=9*2=18 us

Given Q=(1/2)Qo

Q=Qo[1-e^(-t/T)]

For circuit A

(1/2)Qo=Qo[1-e^(-ta/12u)]

ln(0.5)=-ta/12u

ta =8.32 us

for circuit B

(1/2)Qo=Qo[1-e^(-tb/3us)

ln(0.5) =tb/3us

tb=2.08 us

For circuit C

(1/2)Qo=Qo[1-e^(-t/18u)]

ln(0.5)=-t/18u

t=12.48 us
