Is the website I consider to be the most useful and so I am going to talk about how it works. The website helps you create random values and store them as a safety.
If you are ever caught in a phishing attack, it would mean that the attacker can gain access to all your information. They can obtain information such as keyloggers and even create fake web pages that ask for the official login details.
But, even with details like key logs, the act of actually obtaining the correct password is still done by software which dissolves all the information into sets of characters and possible combinations which the machine then tries to unlock the security. This becomes especially hard if the passwords are randomly generated and that is what this website does. It helps you create random strings of values and characters that can then be used as a password depending on the strength and complexity.
It provides a basic guide to create a good password and also resources on how to remember the said passwords, you can then store the password in the file for safekeeping and further use.
The video was informative and correct as far as the information goes. I already knew some of these techniques that are used by the attackers but I also learned about how web pages can be created identical to the original and steal your data. The data is accurate as possible. I was once presented with a fake facebook login page which was visually identical to the original and I commit the mistake of logging my details into that page, only to be met with an error later. Next thing I knew, my account was inaccessible and was being used to harass people and shame people publically and I had to work together with Facebook help to recover my stolen credentials.
