You're a assigned to a team to design a new Data Center in Phoenix Arizona. Your boss comes in and asks for your opinion on the top three things to do concerning security. What would you recommend and why? Be sure to cite your research.

1.For ensuring proficient security in a data center security policies should be developed and implemented.
Three things concerning security are :
(i) Authentication
-Users should be authenticated before providing the centers services. Sensitive data should only be provided to employees of high level security clearance. And accessing of data should be recorded.
(ii) Data storage
-Securing the data should be a high priority task and measure should be taken to deal with threats like hackers, unauthorized personnel on the centre. Cloud storage would be nice to implement.
(iii) Risk Management
-Risk and threat that may hinder the functioning of data center should be identified, analyzed and dealt with. Also the proper procedures should be developed in case of any failure or tragedy.
2. There are many ways to implement cost effective physical security in homes :
-Using CCTV, nowadays CCTV are available which any be afforded by most of the families and they provide capable security.
-Fitting locks in your house, locks are the most basic physical security and is must for every houses, even the windows.
-Alarm system are practical in protecting against theft and forceful entry. They are not very expensive and can be afforded.
