The Business Continuity Plan and the Disaster Recovery Plan are similar in that each has the same end goal - the continuation of business. An assigned person or a planning team will start the planning process. Usually, a contingency planning team is assembled for that purpose. A roster for this team may consist of the following members: Team members, Project manager, Champion. Please explain the role each team member has in the development and implementation of the various continuity plans as part of the IRP, BCP and the DRP.

Explanation / Answer

In disaster recovery or Business continuity plans team members plays very crucial role in the process. Because this is the very important phase or process for the organization to maintain the business continously available without incurring losses or minimal loss.

Bow in this the team members means not a single team in order to run these BCP or DRP successfully multiple teams from different streams work paralelly.

These multiple teams includes operations stack holders to identify key streams, infrastructure elements etc like this to recover these stack holders are from the all the streams in the organization,

It systems and services team to bring back the systems and make them to be available for work.

Infrastructure and network team to run the lost services like network, voice network to make uninterrupted service to the clients.

Project manager is the one who monitors all the teams work and drive them according to the goal. This person is the key member in Business continuity or Disaster recovery team.

Above all these people there is one person called head this person is the key member who is an expert in DR or BC plans. Generally the person in the project manager level will do this if that person doesn't have that knowledge this head will be the planning expert and drive the force towards goal.
