An organization has implemented a leadership development program that has focused upon improving several core leader competencies among their organizational leaders, including: leading employees (motivating, developing, and retaining top performers), confronting difficult employees (acting decisively and with fairness when dealing with difficult employees), and conflict management (managing and resolving conflicts and disagreements in a constructive way). The organization is interested in determining whether the program is a success. How would you recommend the organization go about examining the success of the program?

An organization can measure the success of a program on the basis of both quantitative and qualitative data. The following tools can be utilized to measure the performance and success of the program:
1) Balanced score card approach: The success of organizational program can be measured along with the four dimensions of BSC i.e Financial capabilities, learning and growth dimension, business process measurement and customer perspective .
2) Behavior modification of the employees: If , people have changed their attitude and modify the behavior then it will called as a result of the successful program implementation.
3) Analysis of variance and correlation can be used to calculate the relationship among various variables after successful program implementation.
4) Return on investment and reduction in cost of litigation can be said as success of the program implemented.
