Explanation / Answer
The different factors which can lead to confusion and lack of effective communication in international business is the language barrier and also the difference in expectations while operating across cultures.
The way to manage these differences is to have an uniform business language which addresses the ambiguity of communicating across people who understand different languages. Another suggestion provided by the experts is having more frequent communication and also having a structured training across languages of the cultures in which the business is operating. Thus these are prudent and useful solutions which can be incorporated to reduce the friction and ambiguity caused by inefficient handling of communications across cultures.
Principally we agree with the experts solution, however the efficacy of the solution will depend on how well the expectations are communicated across cultures and the training and common communication framework is developed and rolled out efficiently.
