The training process of Apex is not even a full process wherein an employee is paired with someone who is leaving. The employee who is leaving will have a don't care attitude which will not help the other individual at all. It is also not fair to train the employees in any way with the overlap period. It means setting the employees only for terrible failure.
It reflects that the company is not bothered about the employees. This is shown through the terrible system of training at place. There is no appropriate job system or descriptions at place. This makes it difficult to do things. There are no appropriate parameters.
It is also costly for the company to not have its employees who are well trained.
A proper and up to date job description is important to direct the employees in a positive way. It provides them with useful tool for understanding the boundaries of the job for both the company and the employees. It provides them with important list of skills and tasks that are required for the position. It helps in transitioning and new employees for understanding the required skill sets for the position. The job descriptions of Apex are not up to date.
I would change the training system of Apex and make sure that the job descriptions are up to date. I will also cancel the system of pairing employee with the individuals who are leaving the company. A well organized training program will be the focus.
