You are a systems analyst and you are tasked to build a new website system for a publishing company. You have a solid experience is with traditional data and process modeling techniques. Recently, you learned an object-oriented approach and you decide to try it by mixing it with the traditional structured analysis approach. Therefore, the question is, “Can structured techniques and object-oriented techniques be mixed? How should we start? How can they be mixed? How are the tasks in this mixed approach different from traditional structured analysis?

It is possible to combine strutured techniques and object oriented techniques.By this combining both their strenghts were realized and increased so that a better website system can be created.However we know that we can create a better easily create and more flexible, reusable website design using object oriented approach by tackling the system requirements.
Anyway these two are diffrent methodologies .Lets talk about the tasks in these two approaches.The tasks are totally diffrent from structured and object oriented approaches.Sometimes it may leads to in confusion state for the developers and employees and therefore it should implement wisely.
Based on waterfall model the most common approach to software development life cycle(SDLC) is a structured methodology.In structured methodology it manages the step by step approach to the SDLC phases and activities.Here before moving to the next phase the activities of the one phase must be completed.In this approach the system looks from a top-down view.This approach is using from many years and using this all SAD texts can be described this model in detail.
Whereas in object oriented approach views a systemas bottom-up approach.Using set of business processes it describes the system.To represent various views and functionality of the system OOM uses set of diagrams or models also known as UML (Unified modelling Language)
