The movie Titanic is a love story set amidst the ship Titanic which set sail from Great Britain and had sunk in its maiden voyage to America after colliding with an iceberg. It is a story of human emotions, bravery and courage in the face of adversity and people sacrificing their lives to protect their loved ones.

The one moment which is to be liked most is the sacrifice by the hero of the film when he lets go of the flimsy raft to which he has clung onto post the sinking of the ship in order to save his love interest from perishing. This truly brings out the human values and sacrifices one is prepared to do to safe somebody that he or she loves. This happens after the ship has sunk and Rose, who is the female protagonist has climbed onto a flimsy raft and Jack realizes that he cannot get on the raft as it is too weak to hold onto both their weights. On realizing this he gives up and just holds onto the raft for sometime till he passes away in the ice cold water. He does this to protect his love, Rose from getting drowned.

The only dialogue which can sum up the emotions of Jack and Rose is Jack telling Rose as he is going to pass away “ I love you and shall always continue to do so”. This sums up the emotions that both feel toward each other.

The conclusion of the story is that Jack sacrifices his life in order to ensure that Rose survives, who is rescued by the nearby ships and rescue boats. It conveys the emotion of true love and also shows the extent people can sacrifice their happiness, comfort and even their lives to protect those they love and care about.
