We will focus on three topics for this conference: (1) Inference in ordinary databases or statistical databases, (2) database privacy (through encryption), and (3) cloud security. Please pick one of these three topics and explain in your own words what the problem or issue is, how the issue is being addressed and some of the concerns with the solutions being proposed. Explanation / Answer

Cloud security refers to the policies, and controls which are extended to protect the data or infrasturcutre or whatever stored in the cloud.It is also same like computer or network security.

There are wide variaty of issues associated in cloud security also like problems of cloud service providers or problems faced by customers.

Generally in cloud all the all the organisations data, applications or infrastructure wil be stores depending on the service i.e, Saas,paas etc. In this case cloud providers must ensure the infrastructure and data of the clients is wel maintained and secured. Even though the security is implemented by the cloud provider customer also need to implement strong security method by applying strong encryption or pasword like that.

Bacause in cloud the data is all stored outside the organisation there is aleways some threat for the organisation data. So it is always good that cloud providers also must check the employees by somekind of identifiaction or password who are accessing the data in the server from cloud to confirm that the data is being accessed by the organisation employee only.

And also in sometimes cloud providers also store more than one customer data in te same server. In that cases there is possibility that the confidential data of one oraganisation can be accessed by the other. So to avoid this cases every organsiation must be take security measures by making contract with the cloud providers that their information is stored in the seperate server.
