Yes. I was surprised to know that, all the ideas portrayed , how the usual things can been done in a better way to stay cyber-secure. These basic and realistic tips, do help in escaping from cyber attacks.

Yes, broadcasting the plans or location, done in a usual way without thinking about the after effects.In the thought, “it can’t happen to me”, I have broadcasted the plans or locations in the social media circle. The very thought that cyber criminals automate most of their attacks, has never crossed my mind until I read this article.

I would consider all of the above tips in future.
Broadcasting our plans are fun and letting know our friends that we are having blast, might feel good. But the data being broadcasted over the social media are not only read by our friends. And thus it may lead us to fall prey to the cyber attacks.
I never pay attention to updates of the softwares. On busy schedule, we always put the updates to postpone. But updating the apps can prevent 85% or targeted attacks according to a study.
