You work for a consulting company that performs audits of a company’s IT infrastructure. Your company has been contracted to audit the IT Infrastructure for LSS (LMJ-Star Services). You and your team were sent in to complete the audit.

Generally auditing is happen in every ITcompany and in every business to know the loop holes happening around the business.

Auditing in IT infrastructure will be applicable in the system accesses, modifications in access and functions in computers, what had been done by the people etc

In order to establish the auditing functions in business one must use the best system for the auditing personally i would suggest active directory system inorder to audit the system efficiently.

Generally auditing teams will start with the systems and its accesses and then data stored and the modifications to it. What had done what in the system and why they did that change. Generally in IT companies or in big business there will be lot of changes daily, those need to be audited for particular time to time.

By this we can easily know where the mistake has been done and whom whenever anything inappropriate things is happening in the systems.

Auditing team will check all the systems involved in the business then they made a report which is having which authorizations and what changes they have done and the purpose of that change and in the same way they also make a report on the changes happend in the data and the purpose.

They also audit all the chat history in the crusial businesses to know that all the things are going as per company rules ot anything is obeying the rules.
