1.FUNCTION OF CELL PHONE SWITCHING OFFICE:

A cell phone within a cell communicates to the tower which in turn connected to the cellphone switching office by telephone lines.

Telephone switching office is then connected to the local telephone system.

If cell phone moves from one cell to other cell,then cell switching office hands the connection to the other cell.

2. LINE OF SIGHT:

communication in which there is unobstructed and direct path between transmitting device and receiving device .

3.WiMax protocol:

WiMax protocol belongs to IEEE 802.16 standard family. This protocol initially provides 30 to 40 megabit per second data rate.

It provides portable mobile broadband connectivity.

Providing wireless alternative to cable.

4.INFRARED TRANSMISSION:

INFRARED is an airwave. Rather it can be used for monitoring,communication and control applications.

5.The main advantage of ZigBee are:

RELIABILITY: avoidance of collision is adopted,with a special time slot allocated for those communications that needs fixed bandwidth.

COST: Low cost and patent fee free.

POWER SAVING:low power consumption and stand by mode due to result of short working period.

Disadvantages:

short range,low complexity and low data rate are the main disadvantages of ZigBee.

Free of charge: you do not have to pay for this service.it din not have separate bill by the budget ,its simply buy the technology and done.

WIRELESS: it is cord free and do not have to worry about connection from any place.

Disadvantages:

Battery use: it occurs mostly on in your cellphone but also used in other technology.when your Bluetooth is on then more battery power is used.

Bluetooth Internet:

throughout all connections internet speed may go down due to lots of connections.
