Explanation / Answer
Treat people with your manners, not with theirs
Objective definition
The meaning of the quote is irrespective of how people behave with you, you should never change your reaction and continue behaving the way you are. It tries to indicate that we meet different kinds of people, but their reaction must not influence us. Even in hardest of times we must remember our manners, learnings and behave accordingly. Because once we respond in similar way we leave no difference between us and the person.
Subjective definition
I personally feel what we talk, how we respond, how we behave is an indicator of our upbringing, our values, the kind of person we are. So we should always remember our manners and never respond in an inappropriate way in any situation. We all face such situations in our day to day lives I can remember one incidents which embraces the essence of this quote.
Once in a group discussion a guy was unreasonably rude and was trying to cut short to everything I said. I still maintained my composure and didnt snap. I patiently tried to stop him. In the end he was rejected because of his actions and I was given a second chance to present my views.
Time is like sword if you do not cut it, it will cut you
Objective definition
The meaning of this quote is that Time is unstoppable like a sword coming towards you. Either you can protect yourself by opposing it or it will cut you.Which in turn means that Time waits for none, if you respect it and use it efficiently you survive, but if u ignore it or waste it it only leaves lot of regrets.
Subjective definition
I feel that Time is the driving variable of all our lives, if you use it in a positive way we succeed and if we ignore it, we fail. In my life I have seen both aspects of this suffered because of improper utilization of time and succeeded because of efficient utilization of time. I will share both these incidents. During school I wasted time and didnt focus on the competitive exams as a result I could never get into a good graduation college. But this was an eye opener for me during graduation I utilized my time efficiently and started preparing for Post graduation competitive exams quite early as a result I got into my dream college.
Patience is the key to relief
Objective definition
The meaning of this quote is that no matter what the situation is only Patience will provide relief. When we become impatient we end up taking hasty decisions which we regret later. So its important that we patiently think through the entire situation before taking any action.
Subjective definition
I personally feel patience comes in play in every aspect and at every stage of life. It has the ability to protect us from ourselves. From waiting for red light while crossing road, to listening to your loved ones before judging them to working and waiting for results in office. Patience has a role to play everywhere.
One incident that I can think from my personal life is , My school was taking students on school trip. I wanted to go but my mother said that she will think and let me know. I knew she would say yes but still I kept on bugging her she got irritated and said no. My lack of patience ruined the perfect set up for me. But thank god to my mothers patience I was finally allowed to go.
