Web applications are programs for end users that run on web server, are accessed through a web browser, and require an internet connection

Mobile applications are programs that are designed to run from mobile devices

Individual Project Title: Daily Sales Web Report Application

Individual Project Objectives:
The Daily Sales Web report application is intended to provide the user a listing of the daily sales in a data grid view through a web application that can be accessed anytime by the user. The user will be provided with a web site link to access the daily sales report. When site is accessed the application will fetch sales data for the previous day from the database and display the data according to product categories in grid view as Daily Sales Web Report.
Project Supporting Resources: 
The Estimated budget cost for this project will be $10,000
Database creation: The project requires the creation of databases. 
Risks and Constraints: 
Delay on sales data entry or sales data not entered at all into the system will constrain the generation of this report.
Security settings need to be verified that the report is only visible to the Sales Managers.

An application software (app or application for short) is computer software designed to perform a group of coordinated functions, tasks, or activities for the benefit of the user. Examples of an application include a word processor, a spreadsheet, an accounting application, a web browser, a media player, an aeronautical flight simulator, a console game or a photo editor. The collective noun application software refers to all applications collectively.[1] This contrasts with system software, which is mainly involved with running the computer.

Applications may be bundled with the computer and its system software or published separately, and may be coded as proprietary, open-source or university projects.[2] Apps built for mobile platforms are called mobile apps.
