Question

We've found it's much easier to keep track of assignments and projects by creating a main, or index, page that lists your work. That way, we can simply go to that index page and click on a link to a specific assignment or project.

Create a Simple Index Page

The index page need be nothing fancy, just a simple organizational tool; for example, create and upload the page using following format (Customize the links so that they do open to your pages):

My Hello, World page

My Image Page

My Personal Page

My BIG Project

...and so on.

You get the idea. You can use the html, title, head, and body tags we saw in our Hello, World assignment. When you're done with the page, simply name the file "index.htm" or (preferably) "index.html" and upload it to your Web server. If you have any questions, just submit them to the Web Board!

NOTE: Be sure that the index page is the topmost file in your directory.

Requirements

Your tags must be in lowercase!

Use relative paths where necessary! (See CoffeeCup's page on absolute vs. relative links.)
