Global competitive world has put us In a situation where it has become compulsory for both men and women to work and earn to live a decent life.The economic push has become so wide that has to be balanced by working members in a family.Spending time for family has become a distant dream.Even among all these pressure when a person is able to balance work and life then he will experience all the happiness in life.

1.Work life balance can be planned by the individual but it can also be aided by the authorities in workplace.

2.Personally I was lead by a manager who was very understanding in all aspects and could seriously understand the problem of women in particular.

3.I was offered work from home for two days in a month as I had the responsibility of taking care of my two small kids.They were appointed caretakers but still the two days have me some extra time to spend with them.

4.A creche was set within the campus of the office so that parents who had babies who really needed the care and support of parents ,were given place in the creche. The parent can see their babies whenever they feel like. This reduced the parenthood pressure to a certain level.

5.Training session for work life balance were arranged once in every two months so that the employees could relieve the mind stress and learn to handle things.

6.Apart from women getting maternity break,men who needed the break to take care of their baby were also granted leave.My husband was granted a months leave with pay to take care of my new born baby.

7.A day when I was late to get ready in the morning was considered as permission for one hour which can be availed twice in a month.

8.All these work life Balance schedule was not provided only for me in particular.These are company norms applicable to every individual who is eligible for the terms.

Such offers made us work happy for the organization. Even when there was need for us to work for extra hours there was no grunting or complain against it.Employees contributed whole heartedly to the company and worked with their full efficiency. No pressures or idea of changing jobs.
