What are the political and governmental risks in Germany?
The political and governmental risks in Germany are very low. It is a safe country to do business in from the political and governmental point of view. It has a strong political set up and a stable government.
Is there a risk of terrorism, war or a political uprising?
As far as a risk of terrorism in concerned it is a bit difficult to comment on that. However, in a broad sense it is really not in the radar of terrorists or not at least as much in radar as other countries. US being a case in point which is always on the radar of the terrorists.
As far as a war is concerned I think it has had a fair share of it in the past and they want to avoid it at all costs. Even politically they are pretty stable. The chancellor has been elected for a fourth term and she is quite popular.
Has Germany’s government been historically stable?
Historically, Germany’s governance has seen a lot of ups and downs. Two world wars, dictatorship, division of the German state. Having said that, what needs to be understood is that even after so much turmoil today they are in a very good shape. They are a safe place to do business in or to get into business with. They have learnt from their lessons and instead of wallowing in grief have grown into a strong country and economy to reckon with.
