You have been hired by President Trump as a cybersecurity advisor. Write an essay

proposing what you believe is the most important action/policy/law he should pursue to improve

cybersecurity in the United States.

Your essay must include the following:

•A description of the proposal.

•What effect would implementing the proposal have – how would it improve cybersecurity?

•Which of the three elements of deterrence is the proposal most closely related to?

•Identify at least one cyberattack we have read about this quarter where the proposal

would make the attack less likely to occur, and explain why.

Explanation / Answer

Cyber security is the primarily significant national security concern to be deal with in today's world.

Since the most powerful and influential nation of the world the USA needs to take a actual steps to build secure networks and systems. Not only to defend our information but also to assist other nations reinforce and protected their networks and systems as well.

As a Cyber security counselor my mission would be to organize with different nations and make a secure cyber network to oppose the attacks and be ready to deal with any novel challenges.

To make a sustainable infrastructure to defend the key resources and information of all the USA populace and local as well as State government.

As a cyber security adviser my front line approach would take into deliberation of the three main areas

1) Actual time threat analysis and enhanced incident reporting capabilities. A hotline number would be provided to account any hesitant action online even by children to be taken seriously. A counter-effective method to prevent games like Blue whale which contaminate the innocent brain i.e. children and have a life intimidating effect. To shape out the origin of these work beside the central government and support them closely in eradicating such games completely. In addition form a team with Security specialists from all nations across the globe as this hazard is not only to USA kids but also to the future generation of humans as a whole.

2) With the current malware attacks in Russia and Ukraine like 'petya' and 'Wannacry', it becomes very significant to undertake malware attacks. To remain the security patches updated all the time and to stop clicking on any apprehensive links in emails.

3) To make awareness in general public and kids ,explaining them the finest practices and how to engage in a position once they recognize any cyber threat.

The attentiveness formed by various workshops and the access to hotline numbers would help curb the suicidal games prevalent online.

I suppose such attentiveness would prevent kids from getting into even start playing such games or even if they have by mistake they would not be frightened to report so knowing they will get rid from this..
