4. Dark side traits like episodic managerial incompetence are temporary.
In case of Dark side personality, a leader may be incompetent to get the desired results from the team so built which may be temporary in nature owing to extreme challenging situations that may act as deterrence to the leader’s performance. In terms of virtues, there are certain managerial traits that could be rather over-whelming when considered in smaller doses such as excited that could help to encourage the subordinates, emotional that could help being empathetic to the subordinates, skeptical so as to not accept any opportunity as it comes but to view it in the light of critical evaluation as well, cautious so as to think before deciding and acting there upon, reserved so as to not to spread the word across until some decisions are indeed definite and leisurely such that it does not create an undue panic situation upon the members. However, all these traits become negative and darker side of the leadership personality when the doses increase to the higher levels.
