Set associativity :

                           It’s a technique of storing data in cache where data is stored as n*m matrix. The cache is divided into ‘n’ sets and ‘m’ cache lines. A memory block is mapped onto a set and then placed into a cache line on the set.

Dirty bit :

             Is an indication wheather the block of memory has been modified and is it saved to the storage yet. Dirty bit is set when a memory segment data is modified.
