What type of recovery site or service would you select?

Please respond based on each of the following locations.

San Jose, CA

New York City, NY

Chicago, IL

Singapore

TCC

Explanation / Answer

Location of disaster-recovery site

There are two fundamental DR site options: internal and external. An organization sets up and maintains an internal site while an external site is owned and operated by an outside provider. It can be under ground recovery site or mobile van as recovery site which is movable.

There are three types of backup sites, including cold sites, warm sites, and hot sites. The differences between the types are determined by the costs and effort required to implement each.

For all places i.e. San Jose, CA, New York City, NY, Chicago, IL, Singapore, TCC the best option would be cloud based disaster recovery site which can easily accessible for all the students during any storm or plitical issue, flood, electrical outage, hurricane. A university can create a cloud-based recovery site that can be used if the primary data center is incapacitated. Students can access 24 hours non stop about their respective course. It will also be very cost effecive.
