Question
The result is that employers are now reluctant to hire foreign students. Why recruit and train new hires when there is less than a 50 percent chance that they will be able to stay?
These students are getting increasingly frustrated and applying for jobs back home or in other countries. So we have set the stage for hundreds of thousands of highly educated and skilled workers to become our competitors. Indian and Chinese industry benefited in a big way from the trickle of returnees over the last few years. Now we're looking at a flood.
In light of the above passage, answer these critical thinking questions:
1a. Why are some of the non-U.S. citizens who study in America not being allowed to stay in the United States upon graduating from American universities?
B. From a policy perspective, how might this system be changed?
C.What connections can you draw between this article and the impact on recruitment in the public sector?
Explanation / Answer
As the competition is increasing inside United States of America, number of people coming from developing countries like India and China have been surpassing all the abilities for learning inside the United States of America. This specific situation is decreasing the overall number of jobs for the local residents hence most of the universities are facing protest from different local groups. This specific situation is forcing them to reduce best day of those students inside United States of America.
This system should be changed as per the qualification and the level of ability to learn as well as adoption of the specific student inside their Universities and organisations. This system should adopt merit based sorting system which could define the students who have to stay in United States of America.
The specific process would directly affect the overall recruitment over the public sector. Most of the organisation would not be able to take any students which coming from the outside countries which would reply reduce the overall efficiency as well as diversity of the organisations. By having an ability to adopt and implement different cultures into the organisation different students from different countries are required. Hence rectification of this specific problem would create a large difference in recruitment in the public sector.
For measuring the effectiveness of the specific process we will analyse the overall recruitment done by the employer by measuring the outsiders inside the organisations. Merit based selection and campus selections should directly be reported and should be recorded to measure the specific effectiveness of this program.
An independent body for measuring the diversity inside the organisation and for maintaining a balance between the outsiders and the insider in most of the organisations should be set up for the correct measures.
