The conflict I experienced happened in my previous company. My previous company held the water industry conference every year. Our department was responsible for this project. One day, we held the department meeting regularly. My manager asked the progress of making the conference’s schedule, and no one knew it. Two colleagues in my department argued that who was in charge of making the schedule of the conference. This conflict I experienced in my previous company arose from unclear definition of responsibility. Both of them thought another person was responsible for this task. This conflict was resolved by reallocating this task again. Conflict in the workplace might be inevitable, as employees have different personalities, goals and opinions. Conflict management is one of the core training for managers and supervisors. Learning how to handle conflict efficiently is a necessary skill for anyone in management.

A. Conflicts in workplace arise due to frustration, stress, competition , failed in goal realization. It is resolve by certain methods and strategies given to managers to resolve the conflict efficiently such as:
1). Smoothing: it is the accommodation style in which parties concern for other are high or they are highly cooperative with low assertiveness (concern for self) who prepare themselves to make fair sacrifice in resolving the issues.
2). Withdrawal: it is also called the Avoiding technique . In this the there is low concern for self and low concerns for others or low corporation from others also. These people does not want to involve in any issues .
3). Dominance: These are competing type of win lose strategy .They just see their own interest and low cooperation responses. In this one party do not have to interact with other party.
4) Collaborating: This is an Important tool to resolve the conflict as it has high Assertiveness and high cooperation behaviour which helps to build competition with accommodation. Also reach to an agreement in which both the parties are satisfy.
5). Compromising: it is medium level of Concern for self and concern for others.
6) Resolve the Intra Personal conflict by avoiding and resolving after examining and solving the problem which causing conflict, by resolving the minimum number of roles and fix priorities to them so that there is overlapping of work, by solving the psychological discomfort which created in people when they face to each other or developing compatibility between them .
7). Resolve the Inter Personal Conflict: (a) by the lose lose approach in which in which one party compromise or involve arbitrator and resolve the issue in middle ground to disputes.
(b) Win win strategy: in these both the parties in conflict situation are met and receive reward outcomes.
( c). complementary transaction: eg. Woman to woman transaction between parties. Interaction between two woman ego states will improve communication.
8). Resolving Intra Group Conflict: Conflict between the group can be resolves if the members respect roles of the group members. All the members are realize that divided they stand and united they fall.
