Scalability is the capability of a system, network, or process to handle a growing amount of work, or its potential to be enlarged in order to accommodate that growth.In order to explain this to the end users the protype model will be built so that any changes and things to be added required by the end users can be accomodated and requirements can be manipulated a bit so that the end product is according to the user requirements.It will be explained by hiring more experienced staff within orgranization performing functions of implementing the system.
We can validate that the scalability issue has been devloped in the requirements model as depending on the requirements more staff,experienced workers will be assigned to implement the system.Along with this there will be a contnous assessment to keep the product away from any errors and mistakes by performing testing..The system will have the ability to handle any number of tasks since we will use the latest technology and most of the functions it will perform have already been soted beforehand .
Total cost of ownership (TCO) is a financial estimate intended to help buyers and owners determine the direct and indirect costs of a product or system. It is a management accounting concept that can be used in full cost accounting or even ecological economics where it includes social costs.
we will create TCO by including the costs of the system along with the transportation costs.It will further involve the costs of the end user training given to users to use the system.The costs related to recovery and backup will also be included. The total cost is then calculated colelctively however soem discount is given to end user to attract the customer to buy the product at a price reasonable compared to other products in the market..
The items to be included in TCO estimate are:
a)cost of the system
b)cost of back up and recovery services
c)cost of the transportation
d)cost installation and technology required
e)cost of end user training
If something is left out then it can be a problem in deciding the overall cost to be settled between customer and the company.It is important to include the most important aspects mentioned above so that a deal can be finalized between the two at a particular cost and the supply can be given instantly otherwise it can lead to problems for the co over here a lot.
Documentation is extremely important in order to help the end user to understand the system and get used to it.This will guide them how to use to system step by step and make it easier for them to perform the tasks from day one.
Documentation can be used during system development as it will help the programmers build a system according to the needs of the users. The programmers may be devloping a system involving new technology.In order to develop it they might need information regarding the usage and implementations given in the documentations.They can use this and study in depth to develop a product which is according to the given specifications.
Software toold to develop and publish documentation for the new system include:
1) A word document explaining the functioning of each and every part of the system and how to access it.
2) A powerpoint presentations with a slide of each function.
3)An online website should be created so that user can enter the system details and can get information in detail regarding the same.A databse with model name and features should be created .
4)A website with customer support should be available where users can ask question deirectly to the customer care agents of company and get the queries answered via text chat / calls.
5) The system should also have an in built documentation which should be accessible using a unque username and password known to the user itself and the company only.
