Scenario: While the company is basically profitable, and typically considered a success, customers don’t seem to demonstrate loyalty toward our products and services, and employees typically don’t seem that excited about what they do. We have few customers that have been with us for a really long time. Our employee turnover is higher than the industry average, and it is sometimes difficult to recruit for key open positions. We’re concerned that a general decline will impact our current perceived profitability and success.

Your management team has come to you with the above problem scenario that they need you to advise them on and plan a strategy to address. Write and submit a memo to your manager that describes something in your Standards Framework that you believe will address the problem. Employees are the main assets of the company.So if the employees donot enjoy their work in the company it may lead to their low performance in the company inturn result in loss for the company.so employees must must be engaged in a way that they enjoy their work and gain satisfaction in their job.Inorder to improve employee engagement the company can implement some strategies:
1. Inorder to motivate the employees to enjoy the work in the company the company can go out for a team outing every month so that the employees will get to know each other and have a bonding and also it will increase their contribution towards the work and they will enjoy their job working with their peers
2.Each and every employees talent must be discovered and the company can arrange a program monthly twice to exhibit various skills of the employees other than their usual routine of work.So this talent program may increase their engagement towards the company and also they will enjoy their work place
3.Employees can be given job rotation within the company so that they dont get bored with their job and will also gain knowledge in other fields when they work in other departments within the coompany .This will create an interest to learn various work for the employees so that they will also be excited to know other work and enjoy doing that
4.Employees can also be given onsite opportunities so that the employee turnover can be reduced.The employees will also get to know about various work cultures
5.Employee recognition is the main thing for motivating the employee.Employees must be rewarded for their work so that their interest towards their future projects will also increase and they will work with satisfaction

1.Customer loyalty can be increased by treating them like a boss and providing friendly services this may give a positive experience towards your products or services
2.Offer some disounts to the repeated customers so that they may remain loyal and will buy your products frequently
3.Customer feedback survey can be done and with that feedback the company can make changes so that it will help improve the customer loyalty based on their valuable suggestions
4.Focus and each and every customers needs and suggest them your products /services advantages and ensure that they are aware of the benefits about your product

The work environment can be made with some changes like painting with some bright colors and themes on the walls, slogans hanging out everywhere,Provide Canteen services inside the buildingetc.This may motivate the employees and it will bring a new change in them and will be motivated to work

Short term description:
1.In short term first the company can arrange for programs that will encourage the employees and arrange for a team outing or lunch every fridays
2.They can celebrate every festivals in the company so that the employee engagement towards the company is increased
3.Training can be given to employees on their work and this may improve their performance
4.Awards can be given to employees for their work like high achiever,hard worker etc this will encourage them to work more
These short therm implementations will give a positive feel for the employees to work in the company and will reduce employee retention and with this all the changes in the long term can be implemented successfully to make the company profitable and successful
