Calculation of Monthly turnover is no of employees left during the month divided by total employees for the month.
Follwing Table shows the Employee Turnover on Monthly Basis for Machining Department
To Calculate the annual rate, we need to calculate the average employees, average of no of employees at start and end of the year. We then divide the number of voluntary , involuntary and total employees left during the year by average employees to get the annual rates.
Average employees = 127+155 / 2 = 141
Voluntary left = 25
Involuntary left = 17
Total Employees Left = 42
So Annual rate of Voluntary Left = 25/141 * 100 % = 17.73% Turnover
Annual rate of Involuntary Left = 17/141 * 100% = 12.05%
Total Annual Turnover = 42/141*100% = 30.00%
